Supercenter disruptions

Founder: Swiss Mister

Stephen Collaro

Mass: an installation project about creating visual disruptions in places of mass. Mass is a site specific installation project about creating visual disruptions in places of mass (to date: big-box stores, super-centers, etcetera.). Installations are made without permission, using found materials in the space. The works are made, photographed, then left to be experienced by passersby and ultimately dissembled by location staff. Carson Davis Brown (b. 1985, Grand Rapids, MI, USA) is visual artist working in photography and film. Brown’s photography of “Mass” is on exhibition, for his first solo show, at the 2015 Month of Photography LA, Building Bridges Art Exchange, Santa Monica, CA. He has shown with Radical Color, Humble Arts Foundation, Online exhibition in 2015, Cabin-Time: Wilderness, Crafthaus, Grand Rapids, MI in 2013, as well as receiving a Cabin-Time Roaming Residency in 2012. He was awarded the “Moving Image Photographer of the Year,” International Photography Awards/Lucie Foundation, NYC, in 2013.
