Pearl
& collect
The Pearl lamp is the result of a collaboration between Pierre Favresse and the embroidery of Emmanuelle Dupont, as well as a collaboration between Specimen Edition and the Triode Gallery. Playing with embroidery’s visual codes, the lamp resembles a giant pearl glowing on a small base. Made of hand-made blown glass, each piece is a unique creation and is available with or without embroidery.
Pierre Favresse was born in Brittany in 1979 but soon moved to Paris with his family. He studied cabinet making at the Ecole Boulle before enrolling in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure for Decorative Arts. Following his studies, Pierre began to work with designer Mathieu Lehanneur and became studio director, before founding his own studio in 2010. Pierre is currently Head of Design for Habitat International.
