Dürer - Observer of Nature
& collect
Master print-maker, draftsman, and the Renaissance man from Germany, Albrecht Dürer was a keen observer and recorder of flora and fauna. His watercolours also mark him as one of the first European landscape artists, while his ambitious woodcuts revolutionized the potential of that medium. Images courtesy: Albertina, Vienna.
