DAM - Deutsches Architektur Zentrum in Frankfurt, Germany has selected the winners of best best designed highrise buildings for the The International Highrise Award 2014. The award ceremony took place in November 2014, followed by a vernissage of the exhibition Best Highrises 2014/15. This year´s winner is Bosco Verticale, a high-rise residential apartment building designed by Boeri Studio. The four finalists for this competition are De Rotterdam (Rotterdam) by Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), One Central Park (Sydney) designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel (Barcelona) designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel & RIBAS & RIBAS Arquitectos, Barcelona, and Sliced Porosity Block (Chengdu) designed by Steven Holl Architects.
