Design futures concepts for a smartphone (2007) and a portable music player (2004).
This phone concept, presented at a time when Nokia was the market leader and mobile phones had physical buttons, predicted a bent touch screen and proposed a 3D representation of friend networks instead of phone number lists.
The music player, also featuring a wrap-around display, is supposed to operate exclusively on changing symbol icons which double as decorative graphical surfaces. Screen, icons and device are not separate entities, but integrated into one experience.
