The house was designed by Wright in 1935. The house was built partly over a waterfall in Pennsylvania USA.

The overall cost for the house and guest home was $155,000 (Equivalent to about $2.7 million in 2016).

The house is now used as a tourist destination with tickets starting at $30 for adults and a range of different tours and passes available.
