Four design concepts by Mario Gagliardi on the possibilities of personal computers, designed and published in 2005. One vision foresaw microchips inplanted in human hands to replace physical devices such as phones with hand gestures. In 2017, Swedish startup Epicenter implants its workers with microchips in their hand that function to open doors, operate electronic devices, or pay with a wave of the hand. (C) Mario Gagliardi 2005
