Interior designer Charles Tassin has developed a very personal approach to decoration. Merging the styles of the 1940s and the 1970s, Tassin´s selective approach to 20th century decorative arts results in interiors which seem to reject plain modernism in favor of spatial drama and mise-en-scene. His design seems like the result of a happy malfunction of a time machine, creating, in an intriguing way, an alternative version of the 20th century.
