Interior designer Charles Tassin has developed a very personal approach to decoration. Merging the styles of the 1940s and the 1970s, TassinĀ“s selective approach to 20th century decorative arts results in interiors which seem to reject plain modernism in favor of spatial drama and mise-en-scene. His design seems like the result of a happy malfunction of a time machine, creating, in an intriguing way, an alternative version of the 20th century.
