Shy
& collect
The Shy light uses the spare beauty of thin LED tubes to define the edges of its shape; in this way the function of the piece is created by its form and vice-versa. The modular hardware can be reconfigured in a myriad of different ways, taking new shapes according to what the space demands.

Bec Brittain is a New York based lighting and product designer. After studying product design (Parsons), philosophy (NYU), and architecture (The Architectural Association), Brittain began her career designing and producing bespoke door hardware. Handcrafting hardware allowed her to unify her diverse interests and discover a love of metalworking. She continued to hone her craft while acting as Design Director for Lindsey Adelman Studio from 2008 through 2011. In 2011, Brittain opened her own studio in Brooklyn.
