Flags are symbols of identification. Designed at the time of the formation of a country, they transport feelings of belonging and pride, with colors, patterns and signs representing values and ideals. Flags are static, but the countries they stand for have changed since their flag was designed. What if a flag would instead represent the development of a country, its diversity and complexity, its interweaving strands of history?
