Gallery at Sketch
& collect
British artist David Shrigley has transformed the Gallery at sketch. Open for afternoon tea and dinner the project follows artist Martin Creed’s restaurant commission at sketch in 2012. 239 new works line the restaurant’s walls. India Mahdavi, who has created a backdrop for David Shrigley’s artwork, conceived the interior. The work also comprises new ceramic tableware featuring Shrigley’s drawings and texts. In addition, fashion designer Richard Nicoll created uniforms for the Gallery restaurant staff to wear. sketch has been conceived by master chef Pierre Gagnaire and restaurateur Mourad Mazouz. sketch is at 9 conduit street, London W1S 2XG
