Photographer Gentaro Ishizuka was born in 1977 in Tokyo. He studied literature at Waseda University. Gentaro won the EPSON Color Imaging Contest in 2002, the grand prize Visual Arts Photo Award in 2003 and the Newcomer’s Award of the Photographic Society of Japan in 2004. He published "worldwide wonderful" (Niepce, 2001), "worldwide warp" (visual arts, 2003), "WWWWW" (Seigensha, 2006) and "Pipeline Alaska" in 2007. In 2008, the White Room gallery in Tokyo exhibited his series “Inner Passage”.
