In his project "Traces - China : Undercurrents", Lodon-based photographer Ian Teh documents the tri-border of China, Russia and North Korea, and the industrial landscapes of China´s North-eastern rust belt. His photographs have been featured in Time, Newsweek, The New Yorker and The Independent Magazine. He was awarded the 2011 EF grant from the Magnum Foundation and received a high commendation for the 2009 Prix Pictet award. In 2001 he was part of the Joop Swart Masterclass.
