The goal of the project was to give the iconic Timmelsjoch pass a new appearance without adding a "color-load" on the environment. The solution was a system of design elements, realized in the form of an architectural sculpture by Werner Tscholl. The Timmelsjoch Experience Pass Museum presents the history of the region and its communities between Austria and Italy. Architect Werner Tscholl was born in Latsch, Bolzano. He studied Architecture in Firenze and runs his own architecture studio in Morter, Bolzano since 1983.
