Etienne Meneau
& collect
Etienne Meneau is best known for his "strange carafes". In addition to be an eye-catcher in every home, they are also functional in that they ensure a maximum exposure of wine to air, a necessary process to bring out the flavor in fine wine. He is a designer and sculptor, but also also a conceptual architect, and his paper models are an excellent demonstration of his creative process. Etienne has a special connection to fine wine: He lives and works in Bordeaux, France.
