Wang Luyan was born 1956 in Beijing, where he lives and works. In the 1970s, he became the member of Star Group. Between 1988 and 1995, Wang was a member of the New Measurement Group, a three-member group with and Gu Dexin & Chen Shaoping. His works have been presented in collective and solo exhibitions in China and internationally.
