A collection of works by Isamu Noguchi (November 17, 1904 – December 30, 1988). The son of a Japanese poet and an American writer, Noguchi was designer, sculptor and architect. He created sculptures, gardens, furniture and lighting designs, ceramics, architecture, and set designs. In 1937 he designed a Bakelite intercom for the Zenith Radio Corporation. In 1947, his glass-topped table was produced by Herman Miller. Noguchi travelled throughout his life and maintained studios both in Japan and New York.
