In many regions of the planet, water is increasingly becoming rare. Our understanding of water, reflected in the design of conventional showers and water basins, is based on the idea that there is an endless supply. Thus, in conventional basins, water is exposed as a stream gushing out of a faucet. It is shortly exposed for consumption before being dumped as greywater. In this design study, water is exposed for a much longer time. It gently flows, adheres to surfaces, and invites users to touch, feel, and understand water not as a commodity, but as a precious and essential element of life.
