Design futures concepts for a smartphone and a portable music player (2004) by Mario Gagliardi. This phone concept, presented at a time when Nokia was the market leader and mobile phones had physical buttons, proposed a bent touch screen, interaction by swiping and tapping, and an animated representation of friend networks instead of phone number lists.
The music player, also featuring a wrap-around display, is operated by way of changing icons which double as decorative graphical surfaces. Screen, icons and device are integrated into one experience.
