Born in the city of Puno in 1954, Luis Longhi was raised among Quechua and Aymara people. After studying and living for 15 years in the United States and India, he returned to Peru. In 2003 he represented his country in the 10th International Exhibition of scenography and Theatre Architecture. In 2004 he was a finalist representing Peru in the 4th Iberoamerican Biennale of Architecture. He is currently a Principal Professor teaching at UPC in Lima, Peru, visiting Professor at the University of Hawaii, and visiting professor at ISAD in Chihuahua, Mexico.
