Traffic light design by Russian designers Art Lebedev studio.
Founded in 1995, Art Levedev studio leading designers include Nikita Barinov, Pavel Gerasimchuk, Anna Kleymenova, Taisiya Lushenko, Andrey Maikov, Iskander Mukhamadeev, Vladimir Pavlenko, Vasily Sergeev, Alexei Sharshakov, Sergey Steblina, Yegor Zhgun and Yevgeny Zorin.
The signal panels and displays are made of LED clusters. The back of the traffic light features an extra display, which, due to high contrast, improved the displays visibility against a busy cityscape.
Kayserius has efficient production cost and is low-maintenance. The body is one solid cast piece, which lowers the production cost, simplifies the mounting construction, and makes the installation and maintenance easier.
Isiklarius is the world’s first traffic light to use signal panels based on the PHOLED (phosphorescent organic light-emitting diode) technology.
The traffic light is shaped as an exclamation mark—an established sign calling for attention and stressing important points. Yet the object remains instantly recognizable as a traffic signal.
