Celebrating its 30th anniversary since opening, Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in Frankfurt looks back to the year 1984, when the institution was established. Frank Gehry, Hans Hollein, Rem Koolhaas, Richard Meyer, Aldo Rossi, Denise Scott Brown and Robert Venturi were among the most notable leading architects at the time and influenced the decisions DAM had taken regading collections, exhibitions, and the construction of the museum building. Heinrich Klotz, the director of DAM, has assembled the museum's archive DAM 'Wunderkammer' (cabinet of curiosities) with selected architectural drawings, photos, and models he collected in the years 1979-1989, the moment when Postmodernism reached its hights across Europe.
