Andrea Branzi was born in Florence, where he graduated in architecture. He founded Archizoom with Gilberto Corretti (architect and designer), Paolo Deganello (architect and designer) and Massimo Morozzi (architect and designer)in 1966. In 1968 Dario Bartolini (designer) and Lucia Bartolini (designer) joined the group. Archizoom organised the exhibition "Superachitettura" in December 1966 together with Superstudio. until its dissolution in 1974, the group worked on the vision of the flexible metropolis: "No-Stop City". Andrea Branzi was one of the founders of ´Domus Academy´, the first international post-graduate school of design, and is professor of industrial design at the Politecnico di Milano.
